Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic communications support for SGX’s equities business and for overall Group communications where required, including reputation and issues management
  • Identify opportunities to profile the business in both local and international media, and proactively manage the media
  • Plan and develop news releases, Q&As, briefing documents, speeches and contributed articles
  • Develop and maintain media relations and contacts across local, regional, international and trade press
  • Organise media engagements in Singapore and overseas, including facilitating media interviews at SGX events
  • Work closely with SGX’s PR agency and external stakeholders, where required, to support SGX’s communications goals
  • Work with the team to carry out day-to-day activities like media monitoring, dissemination of press releases, translation of press releases etc.
Job Requirements
  • Proven performer with 6-8 years of experience in managing corporate and financial communications
  • Experience across a range of communication functions, such as corporate and product PR, issues management, public affairs, executive profiling, CSR and internal communications
  • Thrives on tight deadlines, resourceful and able to plan and manage at both strategic and operational levels
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills; strong interpersonal skills across all levels
  • Operates with a sense of urgency and able to prioritise and multi-task
  • Strong sense of commitment and ability to manage high volume and fast pace
  • Attention to detail and results-driven
  • Working knowledge of Mandarin is preferred
