Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic communications support for SGX’s derivatives, market data and technology units and support group communications where required
  • Identify opportunities to profile the business and support units and proactively manage the media
  • Plan and develop news releases, Q&As, briefing documents, speeches and contributed articles, as well as edit market research newsletters
  • Develop and maintain media relations and contacts across local, regional, international and trade press
  • Organise media engagements, including facilitating media attendance at SGX events where needed
  • Manage relationship with SGX’s PR agency in support of SGX’s communications goals
Job Requirements
  • Proven performer with 8-10 years of experience in managing corporate and financial communications, as well as government relations and public affairs
  • Experience across a range of communication functions, i.e., corporate and product PR, issues management, public affairs, executive profiling, CSR and internal communications
  • Thrives on tight deadlines, resourceful and able to plan and manage at both strategic and operational levels
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills; strong interpersonal skills across all levels
  • Operates with a sense of urgency and able to prioritise and multi-task
  • Strong sense of commitment and ability to manage high volume and fast pace
  • Attention to detail and results-driven
